Optimization of Antimicrobial Culture Condition of Pseudoalteromonas.SW-1

Abstract: To explore the antimicrobial effect of Pseudoalteromonas .SW- 1(P .SW- 1), an orthogonal test is designed to study the effect of P .SW- 1 under different incubation conditions on bacteriostatic activity of indicator bacteria. Subsequently, the incubation condition ofP .SW-1 was optimized. Results showed that the best incubation condition ofP .SW-1 was 30 mL/250 mL of aeration, 30℃ of temperature, pH 8.0 and 0.2 mol/l of salinity. In term of this condition, the strains ofP .SW-1 not only produced more antimicrobial substances, but also had the best antibacterial effect on indicator bacteria. The study can provide a theoretical basis for industrial fermentation of the strain.
