Abstract: To provide a basis for the rational development and utilization of heat resources in Heilongjiang, based on daily air temperature data and DEM data from 79 observations during 1961-2017, we analyzed the spatio-temporal variation characteristics of heat resources by adopting 5-day sliding average method, lineartrend estimate, the Kendall-Theil method and GIS. The results showed that: the accumulated temperature steadily above 10℃ in Heilongjiang during 1961- 2017 increased significantly by 27- 101℃ · d/10 a; the increasing trend in the north of the Lesser Khingan mountains (from Heihe, Wusun to Xunke, Jiayin) was greater than that in Mohe, Tahe of the Great Khingan mountains and most of the Sanjiang plain. The lowest average temperature showed a significant upward trend, the average temperature was the second, the linear trend of the highest average temperature did not change significantly; and the rising trend of the lowest average temperature in winter was significantly higher than that in summer. Heat resources are generally rich in the Songnen plain and Sanjiang plain, and poor in the Great Khingan mountains, the Lesser Khingan mountains and Zhangguangcai mountains.
