Abstract:

Edible fungus polysaccharide is a kind of important biomacromolecules with various bioactivities. Polysaccharide bioactivities have direct relationship with their structure. Thus, for modifying polysaccharide structure, the suitable modification way becomes an important direction for polysaccharide research. This study summarizes the modification ways of edible fungus polysaccharide and their antitumor activities, including sulfated modification, carboxymethylation modification, phosphorylation modification, acetylation modification and other chemical modifications of edible fungus polysaccharide. At last, the future research directions are pointed out, such as the other modification ways (except sulfated modification), the relationship between the modified polysaccharide structure and the pharmacological efficacy, and the other bioactivities of edible fungus polysaccharide.

Key words: edible fungus polysaccharide, polysaccharide sulfation, polysaccharide carboxymethylation, polysaccharide phosphorylation, polysaccharide acetylation, antitumor activity
