Abstract:

In order to study Thrips nigropilosus in soybean, we summarized the research progress on the distribution and host, morphological characteristics, damage characteristics, occurrence regularity, living habits, relationship between occurrence and ecological factors, as well as the integrated management of the T. nigropilosus. T. nigropilosus mainly damages many cash crops, such as cultivated soybean, chrysanthemum, tobacco and so on. It has many times of outbreak at home and abroad and caused damage to crops, and there is still a certain risk in the future. It is suggested that the occurrence regularity, basic bio-ecological characteristics, forecasting technology and green control technology of T. nigropilosus needs to be explored in depth under the new climate condition and planting system.

Key words: Thrips nigropilosus, soybean, occurrence regularity, activity habits, prevention and control technology
