Abstract:

The sensory quality evaluation results show that the cigarettes with Huize air-cured tobacco leaves have a softer taste than that with Shizong air-cured tobacco leaves, and the score of Huize air-cured tobacco leaves is slightly higher. To analyze the difference of volatile aroma components in Huize and Shizong air-cured tobacco leaves, the optimal conditions were determined through the selection of extraction head material, extraction time, sample amount, extraction temperature and other conditions, then, headspace solid phase microextraction gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (HS-SPME-GC/MS) was used to analyze the samples. The results show that: (1) through screening, the optimal condition is taking 0.2 g tobacco leaf samples, using pink extraction head of PDMS/DVB coating material, extracting them at 80℃ for 20 min, and then conducting HS-SPME-GC/MS analysis; (2) there are 66 volatile components in Huize air-cured tobacco leaves, and 62 volatile components in Shizong air-cured tobacco leaves; (3) among the 2 kinds of tobacco leaf samples, nicotine and neophyte-diene have the highest mass fraction of volatile components; in addition to these two substances, alkali and ketone substances have higher content in the volatile substances; (4) the contents of alcohol and acid volatile components in Huize air-cured tobacco leaves are higher than that of Shizong air-cured tobacco leaves, and the aroma components are more balanced in Huize than that in Shizong air-cured tobacco leaves. In short, the results of solid-phase microextraction are basically consistent with the conclusions of the sensory evaluation of air-cured tobacco leaves, and the study could provide a theoretical basis for in-depth research on the quality and style characteristics of air-cured tobacco leaves.
