The Development of Agricultural Industrialization Consortium in Metropolitan Areas ——A Case Study of Pudong New Area, Shanghai

Abstract:

Agricultural industrialization consortium is an important form of agricultural operation organization alliance, and also an important way to promote rural revitalization. The purpose of this study is to explore the effective measures to enhance agricultural industrialization consortium in the context of metropolitan environment. Taking the development of agricultural industrialization consortium in Pudong New Area of Shanghai as an example, this paper expounded the current situation of the development of agricultural industrialization consortium in Pudong New Area of Shanghai from the aspects of development goal, development mode, benefit sharing, enterprise driving, brand leading, and etc. It analyzed the main bottleneck in the development process. Based on the analysis of the mode and experience of agricultural industrialization consortium at home and abroad, the paper put forward some suggestions to promote the development of agricultural industrialization consortium in Pudong New Area, such as strengthening organization and leadership, learning from international experience, improving supporting services, taking multiple measures and expanding channels.
