Abstract: Virus diseases cause the reduction in the yield and quality of Zingiber officinale cv.miwen.Through de-virus and repid propagation by stem apices tissue cuiture,the plantlets were gotten successfully free from virus,with hope to improve rts yield and quality.Stemtip medium is MS+6-BA1.0~3.0 mg/L+NAA0.1 mg/L，Medium used for producing rosette buds is MS+2.0-4.0 mg/L. Rooting medium is 1/2MS.
