Abstract: The physiobiochemical base of rice grain quality forming and the recent useful advances of its chemical regulation in practice are outlined. The carbon and nitrogen motabolism and its enzyme activities, grain-filling, dry matter production and partion, photosynthesis were emphatically analyzed. When the problems existed in rice grain quality chemical regulation are discussed, the new research conterns and methods are put forward. They mainly included:(1)Using the system point, the regularity of rice grain quality forming are likely disclosed at all by studying based on“source-sink-bleeding” three sides including photosynthesis production、grain-filling、matter transportation etc. (2)Many character indexes of rice grain quality are probably improved by studying based on compound prescription of PGRS and coordination-confrontation action of different hormones in research practice.
