A Preliminary Report on Identity of Chinese Cabbage to Low Calcium by the Method of Insertion of Detached Leaves

Abstract: In this paper, detached leaves from Chinese cabbage were inserted into detecting solution to study the resistance and character of symptom of leaves of Chinese cabbage under low calcium. The results indicated that the distribution of spot and rot are all “T” shape, there is no relation of spot and rot. To identify material’s resistance to low calcium should base on these two symptoms. The starting of tip-burn mainly on leaf’s marginal and stem. Spot and rot are it’s main symptoms, only 50% material show water strain. There is deep relation between symptoms and varieties.
