Abstract: Traditionally, the point source pollution was considered as the main pollution source of surface water, however, the multiple area-pollution has become more and more devastating due to the development of agriculture production and for the point pollution has been fathered well in recent decades. What’s more, the multiple area-pollution has been identified as a major environmental problem.In this paper, the character, the approach, the pollution proportion and the general situation of the agricultural multiple area-pollution were studied, and with the case in Dianchi and Taihu, the successful ways and means of survey, inspectability and control and prevention were introduced. Meanwhile, the countermeasures for control and prevention of multiple area-pollution in agriculture were suggested in Chaohu.
