The flowers industry of tropical and subtropical region in China have been developed rapidly and become new economic point of growth in some province such as Guandong, Fujian, Shichuan in recent years. Based on the survey to main flower market and production base of Guandong, Yunnan, Fujian, Guangxi, and Hainan and reference to many relate data, the author analyzed the present status and problems exiting in tropical flower industry in China to provide theoretic guide to reasonable layout of the industry. The developmental countermeasures such as establishing and perfecting cultivation, propagation and popularization system of improved variety, establishing quality level system of the flower, extending integrated floricultural techniques, perfecting social service system and training talents and developing leading corporations are put forward.
