Abstract: Apple fruit bagging is one of the most important practices in producing high quality fruits. However, the exceptional environment inside the fruit bag often induces some fruit diseases and insect pests, such as Apple black-dot, apple rough skin, apple bitter pit, Pseudococcus comstocki (Ku wa na) and Sitophilus zeamais Motschulsky. Recent research advances of the familiar fruit diseases and insect pests (listed above) after bagging were summarized in this paper, with special reference to their occurrence in the orchard and how to control. It can be concluded that a comprehensive control system based on the characteristics of each disease with the aid of a reasonable computer predicting system should be built.
