The Mitigative Effects of Exogenous Betaine and Chitosan on Cold Stress in Banana Seedlings

Abstract: Abstract: In this article, the effects of betaine and chitosan on the cold resistance of banana seedlings were studied with orthogonal experimental design L9（34）. The results indicated that BT and CTS have synergistic effect on enhancing the banana seedlings cold resistance. The best time of spraying was 1~3days before cold stressed with the best scheme of drug 0.3%CTS +5mmol.L-1 BT.
