Abstract:

For evaluating the traditional bagging effect of pyrus pyrifolia, ‘Cuiguan’, ‘Xueqing’, ‘Wonwhang’ and ‘Pogua’ pear were chosen for studying the effect of indocalamus bagging on fruit skin features and inner quality by contrasting modern bagging. Results showed that, through indocalamus bagging four pyrus pyrifolia varieties had fruit russet, were covered with many brown rust spots, the fruit quality and commercial appearance of ‘Cuiguan’, ‘Xueqing’, ‘Wonwhang’ had been severely affected, however, ‘Pogua’ pear was improved the appearance quality. Compered to the modern technology bagging, Indocalamus bagging is in favor of improving the inner quality with ‘Wonwhang’ and ‘Xueqing’, but reduced the inner quality of ‘Cuiguan’ and ‘Pogua’ pear. Overall, Indocalamus bagging can only control simple pests, lacking the functional need to improve the bagged fruit skin features of modern technology, therefore, it is unsuitable for pyrus pyrifolia varieties in modern producing.
