Abstract:

Abstract: Total RNA was extracted from liver cells of landrace, pMBL-C gene was amplified by RT-PCR. It was cloned to pMD18-T vector, then the mannan-binding lectin A gene of landrace was obtained.The sequence result indicated that the full-length of pMBL-C gene was 723bp, encoded 241 amino acid. There was 99% homology with pMBL-C published in GenBank at nucleotide and amino acid levels. There were the nearest homology with MBL-C from mammals at amino acid phylogenetic tree, particularly cattle, but the similarity had big difference with MBL-A, even for chicken. The study provides papers for the research of MBLs of pigs.
