Abstract: A pair of primers were designed and synthesized based on the sequences of the IBV genomes, and the RT-PCR method to detect the infectious Bronchitis virus （IBV）were developed.The 1105 bp specifical fragment were obtained from the IBV vaccine strain RNA by this RT-PCR.The sensitivity of RT-PCR reached to 2.85 ng IBV-M-cDNA.These results showed that the RT-PCR method to detect IBV were of better specificity and higher sensibility. The results showed that this PCR technique was specific and applied to IBV diagnoses and epidemiology investigation．
