Abstract: Abstract: The strategic location of the development of Tianjin’s agriculture is to develop a modern coastal urban agriculture and achieve agricultural modernization ahead of other parts of China. To achieve the goal of developing a modern coastal urban agriculture, the agricultural colleges must bring the advantages of talents, intelligence, academic subjects and science and technology into full play, form a sensible and scientific teaching idea, to innovate the talent training pattern, adjust the specialty structure of academic subjects according to the demands, to reform the education and teaching pattern, to establish the popularization of agricultural science basis on agricultural colleges and a popularization system, to establish a system which leads the graduates to the rural areas, and to guide the graduates to work or start an enterprise in the basic level of rural areas.
