Abstract: Narrow germplasm base has been a serious problem in rape breeding at present. In the article, modern biotechnology applied to enhancement of Brassica napus L. germplasm is studied. Gene engineering, microspore culture, protoplast fusion and resynthesis have become the main ways of Brassica napus L. germplasm enhancement.
