Abstract:

There is contradiction between resource conservation and tourism development, and conflict between monotone recreation products and various demands of visitors in the development of Chinese forest parks. Recreation opportunity spectrum has been proved to be a good way to solve problems. This paper learn from ROS of the U.S. Forest Service, combined with our policy,standard, management and research, divide forest parks into primitive，natural，rural and city based on access, landscape resources quality, site management, visitor management, social encounters and visitor impacts.
