Abstract: The paper studied on soil buffering abilities of different utilization types in saline alkali zone. The results showed that soil buffering abilities are as follows: late clearage paddy soil>long-time clearage paddy soil>dry-farming land>woodland soil>meadow saline soil. Among different effectors ,the content of CaCO3 and ESP played important roles.
