Abstract:

Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to analyze the main problems existing in land use in Bishan and accordingly put forward fundamental countermeasures of reasonable land use. The evaluation index system was established to reflect the land use condition in urban and rural areas and the simulation model of land use coordination degree suitable and potential degree for Bishan was designed. The results show that the total land use coordination degree of Bishan is 0.610,which is in the primary level of “relative coordination” section; and the potential degree is 0.390,which means the potential is limited. It is concluded that comprehensive evaluation on land use of Bishan with coordination model and potential model is beneficial to making policies appropriate for reasonably land use.
