Abstract:

Abstract: This paper detailed analysis the situation in soybean production in Hebei Province by the data in the late 15 years. The paper considers: Soybean acreage in Hebei Province is at an average annual rate of more than 2.8 million hectares decline ,from 62.9 million hectares in 1993 fell to 20.3 million hectares in 2008, reduced by two thirds,for the lowest points since the founding of New China; and soybean Yield levels are at an average annual rate of 5% increase, yield level has more than 2000kg per hectare. However, due to larger decrease in planted area, total production of soybean at an average annual rate of about 4.4 million tons to decline ,from 103.4 million tons in 1993 fell to the present 38 million tons .The article also introduced the distribution of the province soybean planting and application types, new technologies and the emergence of a typical high-yield. Pointed out the problems in soybean production and technology needs, while proposals for future development of soybean production in Hebei Province should take countermeasures.
