Abstract:

Ginkgo biloba L. callus induction and growth were studied by orthogonal test of different combinatibns of four explants ，minimal medium ，NAA and 6 –BA ，and two other factors of ginkgo leaf juice and endosperm juice. The results showed ：the optimum　combinations were MS+ NAA 3.0 mg／L + BA 2.0 mg／L for callus induction and SH+ NAA 3.0 mg／L + BA 1.5 mg／L for callus growth with cotyledon as explant. Effect sequence of four effects was explants ＞minimal medium＞NAA ＞ 6-BA for callus induction and growth； Ginkgo endosperm juice improved the growth，but leaf juice inhibited the growth of callus.
