Abstract:
In order to explore the effects of lands use types on soil nutrients and instruct agricultural production, protection and sustainable use of land resources, the impact of land use types on soil nutrient conditions was analyzed systematically in Taiyuan. The results showed that soil total nitrogen, organic matter, available P , available K and available Cu, Zn, Mn, Fe were significantly affected by land use types, and available phosphorus and available potassium had the biggest coefficients of variation. However, total nitrogen and organic matter had the lowest values. The average contents of soil total nitrogen, organic matter and micronutrients: maize land>wheat land>orchard>forest land>potato land, available P and available K were: maize land>wheat land>orchard>tomato land>forest land. Most of the lands in taiyuan belonged to low fertility soils, and were effected by economic efficiency and farming activities, soil nutrients content differed significantly of different types use of lands.
