Abstract:

Recently, it has been found that KiSS-1 gene plays important roles in mammlian reproduction. Kisspeptin, the peptide product of the KiSS-1 gene has been shown to be powerful stimulators of the gonadotropin. Recent advances of expression of KiSS-1 gene related with reproduction and its regulation of hypothalamic expression by sex steroid hormones, metabolic hormone and photoperiod were reviewed in this paper，providing a reference for the direction of further study of KiSS-1 gene.
