In order to improve rural informatization and modern city agriculture, according to countryside and agriculture current situation, Beijing suburban natural resources and socio-economic information management platform was built based on Oracle database, ArcSDE and 3S.Development and construction of the platform were discussed from system platform preparation, design, testing, training, operation and maintenance and data updating, also the main features and several aspects need to pay attention of system platform were pointed out . It achieves space integrated management of Beijing suburban natural resources and socio-economic information and provides sufficient data basis and analysis tool for countryside and agriculture management departments at all levels of government to make rapid and scientific decision. It is very great significant for capital new countryside construction.
