Abstract:
To elucidate the changing characteristics of soil organic carbon and soil nutrient on degraded alpine meadow. With field survey and lab analyses, we studied the distribution of soil organic carbon (SOC), labile organic carbon and relation between SOC and soil nutrient on degraded alpine meadow (0-10 cm and 10-20 cm) in Dangxiong. Results showed that the change order of SOC, labile organic carbon and main nutrients content in 0-10 cm and 10-20 cm: normal grassland > slightly degraded grassland > seriously degraded grassland and SOC content was higher in 0-10 cm than 10-20 cm. Regression analysis showed that there were significantly positive relationships between soil organic carbon to alkali-hydrolyzable nitrogen, available P, available K. The regression coefficient was 0.9131, 0.9466 and 0.9701, respectively. Soil nutrient were decreased with the increase of meadow degradation degree and accelerated the degradation of meadow.
