Abstract:

In this paper, the research advances of Juglans mandshurica Maxim. Were summarized, including the aspects of distribution, community characteristic, growth characteristics, genetic improvement, plant breeding and forestation. Economic values of Juglans mandshurica Maxim. were concluded as lumber trees, dry fruit trees, medicinal plant, landscaping trees. Some questions about the production were discussed and the future development direction was proposed. Thus the reasonable exploitation and the sustainable development of plant resources would come true.
