Abstract:

In order to solve the ‘the last mile’ problem of agricultural information transferring and accelerate the agricultural informationization to serve the agriculture, rural areas and the peasantry, Yunnan academy of agricultural sciences, Yunnan branch of the Xinhua news agency and Yunnan company of China mobile communications corporation established the service platform of agricultural informationization for poverty alleviation in rural information service in Yunnan together. In this article, the author mainly introduced the construction, contents, functions, implementation means and achievements of this platform and put forward some advices: 1) people should select a low-cost and local information mode in the construction of information system in rural areas; 2) establish and perfect the long-efficiency mechanism to ensure the sustainable development of the service platform; 3) perfect the function of platform and develop the service of information integration based on mobile digital library in Yunnan; 4) improve the construction of this service system to make it perfect and push forward industrial development of agricultural information.
