Abstract:
In order to efficiently distinguish and use cultivars germplasm of Pyrus pyrifolia with a near genetic relationship, the polymorphism and cluster analysis based on genetic similarity matrices of inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) markers were used on 16 cultivars. It showed that 16 pairs of ISSR primes produced 135 amplified fragments of which 70.4% were polymorphic. The average number of alleles per ISSR locus was range from 3 to 8. The genetic similarity coefficients among the 16 cultivars ranged from 0.6667 to 0.9630, and the genetic distance ranged from 0.0377 to 0.4055. The closest genetic similarity coefficients was Pyrus pyrifolia ‘Niitaka’ and ‘Soumi Tuniitaka’ (0.9630), the closest genetic distance was 0.0377. Pyrus pyrifolia ‘Soumi Tuniitaka’ were highly divergent from ‘Xuqing’, which indicated that the genetic similarity coefficients was 0.667 and the genetic distance was 0.667
