Abstract:

Taking an example of a two years fertilization trial in mine reclamation soil from Shanxi Province region, China, the effect of different fertilization treatment on mine reclamation soil labile organic carbon and carbon management index were studied in this paper. Soil labile organic carbon was measured with sulfuric acid hydrolysis method. The results showed that: fertilization treatment had certain roles in promoting formation of labile organic carbon pool of mine reclamation soil, single or combined organic and inorganic fertilizers had most remarkable influence. The content of labile Ⅰ organic carbon with organic treatment and combined organic and inorganic fertilizers respectively increase by 100% and 267% than the control. The content of labile Ⅱ organic carbon with single organic treatment and combined organic and inorganic fertilizers respectively increase by 500.05% and 335.4% than the control. Soil labile organic carbon with seasons had the same variation trend in the different treatment. Fertilization treatments all could reduce refractory index of the soil carbon pool, and single organic treatment reduced most. In short, fertilization treatments could promote soil organic carbon content effectively in reclamation, and the organic fertilizer treatment is the best.
