Abstract:

In order to investigate the infection of H9 Subtype Avian Influenza, Newcastle Disease and Infection Bronchitis in Henan Province. 309 share tissues were collected from the diseased chicken in 15 regions of Henan province. The viruses that isolated by embryonated egg-culture, meanwhile, the viruses was identificated by Hemagglutination test (HA), Hemagglutination Inhibition test (HI) and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). The results showed that the positive rates of these three viruses was up to 26.54% totally and the positive rates of NDV, IBV and AIV (H9) were 11.00%, 3.88% and 11.65%, respectively. The positive rates of NDV (30.00%) and IBV (15.00%) were both highest in October 2010, while the highest of AIV (H9) (43.24%) was in January 2011. Chickens co-infected with dual viruses accounted for 3.24% from the detected samples. From July 2010 to April 2011, NDV, IBV and AIV (H9) were very prevalent in the regions of Henan province, offering the scientific evidence to prevent and control these diseases in Henan province.
