Abstract: In order to determine the classification criterion of reflorescence, a comprehensive survey of reflorescence of Hosui cultivar were accomplished in 2010-2012. The results formed a new classification criterion II with a great improvement upon the old classification criterion I. The author studied the relationship between classification criterion I and classification criterion II, and the relationship between the rate of reflorescence and classification criterion. The analysis of coefficients showed that: no significant differences were observed in the rate of reflorescence (rate of reflorescence>45) between the two classification criterion and significant differences were observed in the rate of reflorescence (rate of reflorescence<45). The rate of reflorescence of classification criterion I was higher, while the rate of reflorescence of classification criterion II was lower. The author also summarized the accurate and practical structure model with classification criterion II.
