Abstract: Two bamboo species of Schizostachyum wanshishanensis S. H. Chen, K. F. Huang et H. Z. Guo and Pseudosasa zhongyanensis S. H. Chen, K. F. Huang et H. Z. Guo were formal reported recently. In this paper, by watering the potted plants with treatments of different concentrations of NaCl solution（CK-0.0%, S1-0.1%, S2-0.3%, S3-0.5%, S4-0.7% and S5-1.0%）, and sampling their model standard site soil and bamboo leaves, the biological characteristics of salt tolerance characteristics, main ingredients, main nutrient elements contents, RPMP and RWC and WSD contents, scanning electron microscope of root sections and leaf sections of the two bamboos were studied. The research results will be provided scientific basis for their theoretical research and industry development, especially the popularization and application in coastal saline land.
