Abstract: The aims were to explore the effect of different environmental factors on the germination of Callicarpa nudiflora, and establish a simple and effective method for seeding of Callicarpa nudiflora. The methods for seeding under different aspects, seed treatment, matrix formula, seasonal planting were used in this study. The results showed that seeds germinated in 8 days after peeling by the low temperature (7℃) treatment. The highest germination rate reached 80.2%. With sand for the budding matrix, the seeds germinated in 8-11 days, were shorter than other matrix. And the highest germination rate reached 82.2%. The seeds sowed in March were better than those in December, and the highest germination rate reached 82.9% in March. The best methods for seeding of Callicarpa nudiflora were harvested the ripe fruits and peeled in spring, and dried naturally for 5 days. Sowed with sand for the budding matrix at 25-30℃after cold treatment (7℃) for 3 days, seeds germinated best.
