Abstract: In order to ensure the food production security and reasonable arrangement of the agricultural production, this essay explored the agricultural meteorological problems in corn production in Western Liaoning, and through the experiments of sowing corns by stages, as well as with the analysis methods of mathematical statistics and climate diagnosis, this essay analyzed the effects of the climate changing on corn emergence rate, vegetative growth, reproductive growth speed and yield. The results indicated that the effect of the climate changing on the growth and yield of corn was significant. Under the condition of enough moisture, the climate warms up and the temperature accumulates, and the corns grow faster from the stage of sowing to emerging, and the growth would slow down from the stage of emerging to tasseling, and from tasseling to mature. To increase the sunshine time can prolong the corns' growth period. For every 100℃·d increase (decrease) of the ≥10℃accumulated temperature, the yield per hectare increases (decreases) about 455 kg. In the environment of climate warming, to prolong the growth period can enhance the yield, so the late-maturing corn varieties should be considered to increase the proportion of the thermophilic crops. The best sowing time is from April 20 to 30 in the Western Liaoning. The research result can provide basis for the adjustment of the agricultural structure, as well as increasing in the corn yield.
