Abstract: Broiler intestinal toxicity syndrome is a complex syndrome caused by poor feeding and management, drug abuse, and environmental changes which lead to mixed infection of viruses, bacteria and coccidia. This syndrome is characterized by diarrhea, dehydration, intestinal mucosal shedding, intestinal hemorrhage and necrosis and the undigested feeds accumulated in the intestinal canal. In this paper, features, clinical symptoms, necropsy changes and etiology of the disease were systematically described, and the effective control measures, such as strengthening environmental control, deploying feed scientifically, using vaccine prevention, feeding probiotics, correcting electrolyte balance and repairing intestinal mucosa, were proposed in order to provide guidance for the control of broiler intestinal toxicity syndrome.
