Effects of Bio-active Humic Acid with Different Amounts of Fertilizer on Soil Properties and Rape Yields

Abstract: In order to study the effect of biological humic acid fertilizers with different amounts of chemical fertilizer on soil properties and crop yield, through pot experiment, we studied the biological humic acid fertilizer during growing crops on soil properties. The results showed that the bio-active humic acid fertilizer could reduce the amount of chemical fertilizer, and also increase the content of soil total nitrogen, organic matter, available nitrogen, available phosphorus, available potassium, and improve soil properties and enhance rape yield. The bio-active humic acid and chemical fertilizer had significantly affected soil properties and rape yields, so the amount of chemical fertilizer on rape growth should be reduce by 20%. It was concluded that the influence of bio-active humic acid and fertilizer on rape growth was various, which meant that the bio-active humic acid and fertilizer application amount and ratio should be established with an integrated consideration of soil properties and utilization efficiency of fertilizer.
