Abstract: [Objective］To provide investment advices for China’s natural rubber industry to conduct business in Africa, [Objective］an appraisal system of international investment potential of rubber plantation is established to evaluate the development potential of natural rubber industry in Cote d’Ivoire, based on the theory of international investment and industrial development. The factor analysis method is used to obtain the key factors influencing the transnational development of the natural rubber industry and a comprehensive evaluation is made. [Result］The results show that: better foundation of natural rubber industry, higher degree of resource exploitation potential, and broader prospects of economic development have positive impacts on the international investment of rubber plantation. [Objective］According to the evaluation scores, although the development environment of natural rubber industry in Cote d’Ivoire is still unstable enough, it presents an upward development trend. The investments from China natural rubber industry can give a priority to Cote d’Ivoire as one of the main destinations in Africa.
