Bio-organic Fertilizer: Application and Farmland Environmental Effects

Abstract

Abstract: Bio-organic fertilizer plays a significant role in improving crop yield and soil fertility, reducing crop pests and diseases, and environmental pollution, and it is crucial for the development of green agriculture. The authors reviewed the research progress of the application of bio- organic fertilizers on crop growth, soil improvement, greenhouse gas emissions, and agricultural non- point source pollution; pointed out the inadequacies of current research on bio-organic fertilizers, and put forward suggestions on future research directions of bio-organic fertilizer. This paper provides a basis for the rational use of bio-organic fertilizer and sustainable development of water and land resources.
