Abstract:

The study aims at revealing the effect of different formulations on the activities of composite microbial system GF-20, and improving its storage stability and the convenient application. The composite microbial system GF-20 was used as research object to study the effect of carriers and capacity on biocompatibility with the method of filter strip, and weight-loss method was used to test the stalk degradation of powder product. The results showed that, the powder with diatomite as carrier had the highest ability of filter paper degradation. Further research showed that the optimum capacity of carrier was 2:1 (volume of GF-20: weight of carrier, mL: g). The product prepared with such formulation showed 9.5% higher degradation percentage of corn stalk than that of control under low-temperature (10℃), and there was significant difference between them. Under microscope, significant incision and breakage were observed on stalk epidermis treated with dustable powder. These results indicate that GF-20 powder has good ability of corn stalk degradation under low temperature, and it could improve the corn stalk degradation rate in northern cold region of China.
