Effects of Combined Application of Dazomet and Bio-bacterial Fertilizer on Growth, Yield, Diseases, Pests and Weeds of Plastic House Autumn Tomato

Abstract: The paper aims to solve the problem of soil borne diseases in plastic house autumn tomato. The effect of combined application of dazomet and bio-bacterial fertilizer on plastic house soil was studied by the method of field comparison. The results showed that single dazomet treatment restrained the growth of tomato. The swelling of the first spike fruit of tomato was inhibited, the fruit weight per fruit was decreased, the disease incidence of root knot nematode and stem rot of autumn tomato was not reduced, but weeds were obviously inhibited. The yield of the first ear of autumn tomato by a combination treatment dazomet+ bio-bacterial fertilizer was significantly higher than that of the control and dazomet treatment, and the incidence of stem base rot and root knot nematode was respectively reduced by 79.62% and 15%, and the effect of controlling root knot nematode was 30.3%. To sum up, the matching treatment of soil by dazomet+ bio-bacterial fertilizer is an effective method to control stem base rot and root knot nematode disease and increase yield of plastic house autumn tomato.
