Abstract:

For exploring the methods to control pests ecologically in cruciferous vegetables fields, effects intercropping of cabbage with three kinds of non-cruciferous vegetables of tomato, garland chrysanthemum, garlic respectively on the arthropod community in spring cabbage fields were studied in this paper. The results showed that each intercropping of cabbage with tomato, garland chrysanthemum had certain control effect on major insect pests of Pieris rapae and vegetables aphids in spring cabbage fields. Among them, the intercropping of cabbage with garlic had the best control effect on cabbage insect pests and increased significantly the evenness and diversity of the arthropod community in spring cabbage fields. Therefore, it had certain practice values in cabbage production.
