Abstract:

The effects of four kinds of antibiotics, Kna, Hyg, Carb and Cef on induction of callus were studied using the cotyledon and hypocotyl of Brassica parachinensis of Brassica rapa subspecies as explants, and the effects of Carb and Cef on inhibiting Agrobacterium LBA4404 were also analyzed. The results indicated that the inhibitions of Kna and Hyg on the induction of callus were effective, the ideal selecting pressure of Kna was 10 mg/L in cotyledon and 15 mg/L in hypocotyl while Hyg was 8 mg/L in cotyledon and 6 mg/L in hypocotyl, while the inhibitions of Carb and Cef were slight. Carb and Cef can suppress proliferation of Agrobacterium LBA4404 better, and the concentration of 200-400 mg/L was optional for the remove of bacterial cells.
