Abstract:

The livability of rural residential areas will affect the production of residential aggregation efficiency and the level of intensive use about rural collective construction land . Based on the actual investigation in Bajiao village, the author used household sample survey, GIS technology to investigate and evaluate the livable conditions of exiting rural residential areas based on households’ willingness. The research showed the conditions of livable rural residential areas: farming radius accepted by households, production convenience; well accessibility of the road; meet the next generation of farmers’ demand for education; perfect infrastructure.Key words: rural residential areas; livability; Bajiao village
