Abstract:

Experiments based on sexual reproduction Matteuccia struthiopteris way to do further research, and helps keep and breeding wild species resources. Mainly by means of optical microscope and paraffin technology detailed observe and record the archegonium of Matteuccia struthiopteris development process, and the results show that the archegonium formed in the under surface cell of the prothallium consists of 4~6 cells in the neck; Egg formation through two not equal division, the ventral canal cell disintegrated marks mature egg; Apical cell open, mature oocytes were fertilized; When the ventral canal cell concentrate become slightly flat hemispherical structure and non-dismatiement, prompting archegonium abortion. This study is the first time to specify the sequences and characteristics of the archegonium interior cell in Matteuccia struthiopteris, provide necessary reference material for the development and application of wild Matteuccia struthiopteris.
