Abstract:

In order to prove the quality and safety of Chenxiang Tea, using Chenxiang Tea produced in different place as materials. The research appraised and analyzed the main quality and safety index of Chenxiang Tea by national standard methods. The result showed that Pu’er scattered tea contained more total numbers of colony. Aspergillus flavus, diarrhoea causative Escherichia, Escherichia coli, Salmonella were not detected in this research and Staphyloccocus aureus was detected only in one sample. Pesticide residues accorded with GB 2763—2005 maximum levels of contaminants in foods. The content of heavy metal Pb was in the range of 0.38-4.70 mg/kg, according with standards for tea quality and standards for maximum levels of contaminants in foods. The total ash content was in the range of 5.42%-7.27% and the water-unsoluble ash was in the range of 2.1%-3.81%. The water-soluble ash accounted for 50% of total ash. The acid-unsoluble ash content was in the range of 0.139%-0.793%, which illustrated the less mud and sand in tea and better quality. As a whole the safety of Chenxiang Tea was credible.
