Abstract:

Based on different maize genotypes as material, using solution culture method, on maize seedling of different treatments [phosphor (+P), phosphorus (-P)], study the changes, such as maize chlorophyll content, acid phosphatase activity and root morphology index etc. The results showed that, in low phosphorus stress (-P), acid phosphatase and root morphological indicators of two maize varieties were significantly greater than normal P supply levels (+P), and chlorophyll content showed a downward trend. In addition, under the condition of low phosphorus, taproot length of phosphorus sensitive varieties 163 was much greater than that of the resistance phosphorus varieties 66, while the chlorophyll content and the activity of acid phosphatase of 66 were greater than that of 163. These results suggested that, adaptive responses in different maize genotypes under low phosphorus condition, and provide a theoretical reference for the further study of phosphorus starvation response gene in plant nutrition function.
