Abstract:
The aim was to screen the quantitative indices of tomato weak light tolerance and synthetically evaluate the weak light tolerance of the various tomato cultivars. Six tomato cultivars as experimental material were treated by light stress (50% and 25% of normal light density), then the 9 physiological indices were tested with spectrophotometer, and the weak light tolerance of the various tomato cultivars were evaluated with subordinate function analysis method of fuzzy mathematics. The contents of chlorophyll, MDA, proline and soluble protein, fruit setting percentage and average product per plant were determined, and the correlation analysis and main factor analysis of weak light tolerance coefficient of all the determination indices were analyzed. The results showed that the fruit setting rate and yield had significant correlation with other weak light tolerance indices. The tolerance of ‘Xinfen No.8’ and ‘Ginguan No.5’ were most stable for weak light stress. The mild light condition was suitable for ‘Fenduliren No.2’. ‘Yazhoufenhuang’ had the worst tolerance for weak light.
