Abstract:

In order to improve the composition of consumption, to make the life of farmers better, and to provide scientific evidence for making policies by government, we analyzed the data of “The expenditure per capita of rural residents in different income levels in 2009”. We revealed the relationship among the incomes and the composition of consumptions by employing the process of “Correspondence Analysis” in SPSS. The results showed that the first 2 of the elements took up to 86.9% of the contribution. The first element, including the expenditures of food, communication, wearing, education, recreation and medical treatment, occupied no less than 51.7%. Meanwhile we drew pictures to show clearly the differences of the consumption inhabits of rural residents with different income level.
